There are various cures for impotence available today. What are the real differences of these cures and which one is the best ?

Viagra
Viagra is currently the most popular drug for impotence patients and the sexually active alike, because it is effective. Only qualified doctors can prescribe this drug; Most online stores selling Viagra are actually selling fake (highly illegal) or generic versions of the drug. Viagra sells at around $10 per pill, and low prices ($1.5 per pill) are only available when one orders a bulk amount. Again, many of these sold online are generic versions which are less effective than the real thing. Viagra takes around 30 minutes to more than 1 hour to take effect.
Viagra has adverse drug reactions. Viagra's side effects include sneezing, dizziness, headaches, flushing, dyspepsia, photophobia, palpitations, priapism, heart attacks, strokes and sudden death. The serious side effects are rare, however they can happen. And the common side effects are much more common. There have been news stories about these side effects and men that have fallen victim into them.

Cialis
Cialis is another drug that does the exact same thing as Viagra. However, they have different chemical structures. Cialis is 5 times stronger than Viagra; a 20mg Cialis is almost equivalent to a 100mg dose of Viagra. Cialis can cost up to $22 per pill for the real brand name pill. It is marketed by Eli Lilly and Company as Cialis. Its chemical name is actually Tadalafil.
Cialis is gaining more popularity nowadays due to its long-lasting effect. Cialis can last over 36 hours (compared to Viagra which lasts 4 hours) and it is called the "weekend pill" due to its long-lasting benefit. Cialis has fewer side effects than Viagra and Levitra. Its only side effects are back pain, flushing, muscles aches, headaches and stuffy/runny nose. More recently, the FDA discovered that Cialis can cause a loss of vision. There are similar stories that link Viagra to blindness.

Levitra
Levitra is another impotence drug that is very similar to Viagra and Cialis in terms of its role and effectiveness. Its chemical name is Vardenafil. Levitra does the exact same thing as Viagra and Cialis because it is a PDE5 inhibitor as well. Levitra also has side effects such as nausea, abdominal pain, back pain, eye pain, rash, palpitation, heart attacks, penile tissue damage and permanent loss of potency. Levitra lasts around 4-5 hours in total and takes more than 40 minutes to take effect.
Levitra is gaining more popularity as the preferred alternative to Viagra. However, they are pretty much the same drug. Levitra has a more powerful effect, because a 10mg dose of Levitra is comparable to a 50 mg dose of Viagra.

Herbal Alternatives
There are herbal alternative impotence pills that are made of herbal ingredients. These newer products have similar effects to the chemical drugs. They work in 30 minutes, last 4 hours. The main benefit of these herbal alternatives is that there are no side effects, as the ingredients are natural medicine. Herbal alternatives are cheaper and easier to obtain, because a prescription from the doctor is needed to acquire Viagra, Cialis or Levitra.
